A new design obviously. I think it is a refreshing change and look a lot better than the previous one. It looks more organised and neat. It loads pretty fast too. :)
Try it out when you sign in with ur LIVE messenger. I hope the next version of LIVE messenger is more 'light' and doesn't use so much of my memory.
