Amy Winehouse punches a fan while singing
Such rare talent, singing while punching at the same time. I think one of the fans was doing something that she was unhappy about. The rage kinda built up when the fan was persistent abt it, thus ensues the punches.
It went something like:
"I ain’t got 70 days
(*elbow)
..... Nothing
(*punch! punch!)
nothing (*punch) you (*punch) can (*punch) teach me!"
Well for one thing it IS SOMETHING, and you were definitely TEACHING someone...... a lesson that is.

Appearing with make-up, she does look prettier, mature. But not as many are viewing her. Is she losing her popularity?

Do NOT photocopy your butt
It hurts and it is not sexy, especially if you are overweight like this guy, who apparently didn't take into consideration that the glass panel can't hold his weight.
But I think, if you were this girl, ...... well exceptions do apply.

This man danced on every country he visited!
This is just amazing. I wonder how did he get the money to do this. 14 months in the making, Matt travelled the world to dance on several countries. Nothing special you might say, but include it with the citizens of the country he visited, it comes out into an amazing video!
Some were funny, some were cool. Everyone was thoroughly enjoying themselves, smiling and laughing! And yes, Singapore was included too! Man, how I wish I was in it! Haha!

June 30th: The era ends for Windows XP
After a long battle to keep it going, Windows XP will be no more. To me it is kinda forcing you to get Vista and I am sure a lot of PC users are not really happy with this decision. 19 months on, I still hear friends of mine who bought their new PCs asking to have their Vista removed and have XP instead.

My soulful midnight
Ever sat back and skimmed through some songs, when you chance upon a song that haven't heard before. A song that you can just keep playing over and over again.
Duffy, I admit, has a 60s kind of voice. Nothing wrong with that really. She has good voice control and her songs are wonderful.
I watched her live performances, and she is the real deal. Even on stage live, she is amazing. She really can sing unlike other famous singers who depend on the magic of music studio to make them sound nice, she doesn't need it. Her voice is natural and beautiful. When she sings those high notes, she makes it seem effortless.
Frankly, she sounds even better LIVE. She has got me begging for mercy to give me more of her music.
Rockferry lyrics
I'd move to Rockferry,
Tomorrow
And I'd build my house, baby
With sorrow
I'd leave my shadow,
To fall behind
And I wouldn't write to you
'cos I'm not that kind
The midnight trains are boarding
All wrap up 8s
I pick my load and I fill my truck
before it's too late
I leave the stars to judge
my every move
I'm not going to think of you, oh
I'd get the blues
There's no sleep on the journey
away from time
A bag of songs and a heavy heart
won't make me down
I'll give it all my strength and my mind
I'll make this decision with or without
I'd move to Rockferry,
Tomorrow
And I'd build my house, baby
With sorrow
I'd leave my shadow,
To fall behind
And I wouldn't write to you
'cos I'm not that kind
not that kind
Rockferry, not that kind (repeat)
(fading) Rockferry......

Firefox 3 Downloaded!
After several tries trying to get into Mozilla to download Firefox 3, I finally got into the right download page. Yeah now I have my FREE Firefox 3. What's the fuss? I love this browser and I wanted to be part of the Guinness Record. Even as it is not an individual record, at least I was part of it. :P
Anyway, not any major visual changes, I think the most prominent change you can see are the icons; back/forward buttons, reload, home. Firefox still sticks to it's minimalistic features, which to me is good because I do not like my browser to be all cluttered.
Firefox claims that they are now faster, safer and smarter than the Firefox 2. Well, after using it for a while, it does feel faster, safer and smarter. No problems so far, I can still surf and watch videos online without any lagging.
Surprisingly, the address bar is being named the "Awesome" bar. It is awesome because instead of using a keyboard shortcut to boookmark a page, you can now do so just by clicking on the outline star on the right. Click twice and you can select where you want to save your bookmark. Plus, it also becomes like a search bar. Whatever you type, it shows the pages you have visited before. Nothing new, but a bit different. You'll have to try it out to get a sense of what I mean.
You can download the Firefox 3 here.
Happy surfing!

I can't turn my head
Talk about over-exertion and wrong sleeping position. I woke up with a bad strain behind my neck, that I even had problem just sitting up. I was groaning just trying to get up and dragged myself to the bathroom. I turned on the heater and let the hot water run down my neck. Slight relief there, but after a good long bath, I walked out of the bathroom, like Michael Keaton in a Batman suit.
After a good dry up with the towel, putting on a shirt was like wearing metal armour. You don't feel comfortable at all. I applied some 'heat stickers' on my neck and back. After abt an hour, I could move my neck a bit, and did some neck stretching. I was thinking of taking some pain killers, but that would put me to sleep. So I am just bearing the pain as I try to type this blog post.

Rage Against The Machie: Bombtrack
RATM, I used to listen to their music when I was a kid. I guess the raging hormones, anger, juvenile angst just made me love their music. I would go skate or do some extreme sports listening to them, needless to say, my knees get a really worn out as I got older. Used to head bang listening to them, but if I do that now, I'd be having a splitting headache.
Their music has some radical messages in them, but their purpose is to promote freedom. Heck, even their name, Rage Against the Machine, sounds like a fight to stand up against oppression.
I haven't listened to them for some time, only once in a while I would listen to their old tracks to bring me back to my 'juvenile' youth. Listening to their latest tracks, well I can say they haven't mellowed, unlike other bands. They still have the same energy in their music. With their hard hitting and no nonsense "Let's get the message across" poetic lyrics, it brings out the adrenaline in me.

Bombtrack lyrics
Ughh!
Hey yo, it's just another bombtrack...ughh!
Hey yo, it's just another bombtrack...yeah!
It goes a-1, 2, 3...
Yeah, it's just another bombtrack
And suckas be thinkin' that they can fake this
But I'm gonna drop it at a higher level
'Cause I'm inclined to stoop down
Hand out some beat-downs
Cold runna train on punk ho's that
Think they run the game
But I learned to burn that bridge and delete
Those who compete...at a level that's obsolete
Instead I warm my hands upon the flames of the flag
To recall our downfall
And the businesses that burned us all
See through the news and the views that twist reality
Enough
I call the bluff
Fuck Manifest destiny
Landlords and power whores
On my people they took turns
Dispute the suits I ignite
And then watch 'em burn
With the thoughts from a militant mind
Hardline, hardline after hardline
Landlords and power whores
On my people they took turns
Dispute the suits I ignite
And then watch 'em burn
Burn, burn, yes ya gonna burn
Burn, burn, yes ya gonna burn
Burn, burn, yes ya gonna burn
Burn, burn, yes ya gonna burn
Burn, burn, yes ya gonna burn
Burn, burn, yes ya gonna burn
Burn, burn, yes ya gonna burn
Burn, burn, yes ya gonna burn
It goes a-1, 2, 3
Another funky radical bombtrack
Started as a sketch in my notebook
And now dope hooks make punks take another look
My mind ya hear and ya begin to fear
That ya card will get pulled if ya interfere
With the thoughts from a militant militant mind
Hardline, hardline after hardline
Landlords and power whores

This is what coffee can do to you when you pee
http://www.lepak.tv/play.php?vid=1076
I think the effects of this commercial is exaggerated. If coffee can do this when you pee, imagine the velocity of it when you... erhm! ... in bed.
Probably much worse than the previous post about 2 man and a horse.

Australian research: Masturbation 'cuts cancer risk'
"The protective effect was greatest while the men were in their 20s.
Men who ejaculated more than five times a week were a third less likely to develop prostate cancer later in life....
.... Anthony Smith, deputy director of the Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society at La Trobe University in Melbourne, said the research could affect the kind of lifestyle advice doctors give to patients.
"Masturbation is part of people's sexual repertoire. If these findings hold up, then it's perfectly reasonable that men should be encouraged to masturbate," he said."

Tila Nguyen is her real name by the way. You can see more of her model poses here.
She is small and petite and she is also an '81er. She does have a hot body, and has a really nice tan. Although I wish she didn't have those tatoos on her.

I don't feel like going out today...
The weather is so cool. The air smells nice, the birds are singing and the breeze is flowing through my room. I just feel like lazing around, sitting on a comfortable chair, sipping some tea, watching my favourite movies. If I were married, I'd be snuggling up with my spouse under my blanket and just enjoying each other's company.
After quite a bz and tiring week, I just wanna relax a little. Yesterday, I didn't have enough sleep, but I went out to see my cousin off to London and Paris. Then hanged out to eat at T3, before going off to Funan IT Mall to help my cuzz's family a network adapter and also get her freebies there. Hanged out around the mall as we looked at other items we need to buy before heading back to her home to install her adapter and get her internet working on one of her computers.
Later on we went out to Expo and bought some stuff at the John Little sale and also another hall which I am not sure what it was, but they had some kind of a Melayu kampung style theme there. There was a band of 'kompang' players, playing some pretty cool music. They sold some traditional Malay costumes, food, games, etc. They even had local durian there where you can try and buy.
After all that walking, we headed to Simpang Bedok to eat, I was a little tired by then. After a nice meal, my uncle dropped me at Eastpoint Mall where I went to buy some food for my sis at home.
I was so tired when I got back, I had my bath and when I switched on my lappy to check my emails, I was literally doozing off in my chair. I had to slap myself awake to do some last minute email checking before slumping myself to bed.
I can't believe I actually slept before midnight.

Sorry people, YouTube finally took it off from the web. If you were wondering and those of you who manage to catch it before it was taken off, it was just a couple of girls naked pleasing each other. :P
Anyway, here's a little consolation.

Moving house contents is tiring work
Long since I carried furniture up and down flights of stairs. But luckily, I am still in good health and fitness, so I am not having the usual aches and pains after such a workout.
But I was pretty much tired when I got back home. Just right after noon, we headed to Bedok after picking up the home owner. Her block, unfortunately, was having a lift upgrade. So the stairs was the only way. Luckily, it was only the 4th storey. Took us about 30~45 mins to bring the furniture and all of her stuff down. And there were only 2 men(including me) plus her nephew helping us. After managing to squeeze all that we needed into the van, we headed to top up our petrol tank before going to Boon Keng to put all the stuff into storage.
I was soaking wet in the van and so was my friend. But on consolation, it was a cool day so our transportation was quite a breeze. The home owner's daughter followed us to help us storage access/processing.
Upon reaching the 'storage hub', there was a slight problem with the access of the storage room. Apparently, it wasn't under her name, it was under her sis, who was in KL! The staff over there, had to follow procedure and disallowed us to use the storage since there was no authorization letter from her. They weren't unhelpful, they did talk to their boss about it and a solution was found. We just had to call her sister in KL.
Luckily, we manage to reach her through the phone and the lady at the counter remembered her after talking to her on the phone and asks for authorization from her. Of course, she said yes. So, anyhow, the staff was kind to us and helped us with the access of the storage room and within 15 mins, all the stuff was put into the room.
That was not the end, we had to head back to Bedok again to pick up some furniture and kitchen accessories that will be transported to Tampines. If you are wondering what they are, they were actually a washing machine, a big oven, living room tables and chairs, and miscellaneous stuff in bags. We were a man short by now, since the nephew decided to go somewhere, so just two guys going up and down the 4th storey carrying down the furnitures. So another round of a sweaty work out. Haha!
Once all were loaded into the van, off we went to Tampines and thank God, the multi-storey carpark is connected to their home building. So there were no stairs to climb, we just had to move all the things out of the van, straight to their home just about 15m away.
After all that, we said our goodbyes and they thanks us for helping them out. We got back into the van and my friend dropped me near my home while he had to head to the airport to pick up his gf.
I got home, and had a cold deserving bath. What a refreshing experience.

Does this Linkin Park music video looks similar to the movie 'Sunshine' ?
After watching the music clip, I can't help noticing how much similar it is with the movie, Sunshine. If you haven't watched it, go and watch it. And you'll know what I mean.
The spaceship, the blackness of space, the glowing sun and the technology inside the spaceship, all of it looks so similar with the movie. I don't know if the band knows it, but I got a feeling the director or even the producer of this music clip took some inspiration from the movie. But I feel, it looks way too similar. Somewhat like copying the whole concept of it.
Don't get me wrong, the music is great. I like the beat and the lyrics. A nice song to listen to in the car while you drive back home from work at night. My only wish is that the music would go on longer than 3 mins 24 seconds.
Anyway, here's the lyrics.
Lyrics:
I dreamed I was missing
You were so scared
But no one would listen
Cause no one else cared
After my dreaming
I woke with this fear
What am I leaving
When I'm done here
So if you're asking me
I want you to know
[Chorus]
When my time comes
Forget the wrong that I've done
Help me leave behind some
Reasons to be missed
And don't resent me
And when you're feeling empty
Keep me in your memory
Leave out all the rest
Leave out all the rest
[End Chorus]
Don't be afraid
I've taken my beating
I've shared what I made
I'm strong on the surface
Not all the way through
I've never been perfect
But neither have you
So if you're asking me
I want you to know
[Chorus]
When my time comes
Forget the wrong that I've done
Help me leave behind some
Reasons to be missed
Don't resent me
And when you're feeling empty
Keep me in your memory
Leave out all the rest
Leave out all the rest
[End Chorus]
Forgetting
All the hurt inside
You've learned to hide so well
Pretending
Someone else can come and save me from myself
I can't be who you are
[Chorus]
When my time comes
Forget the wrong that I've done
Help me leave behind some
Reasons to be missed
Don't resent me
And when you're feeling empty
Keep me in your memory
Leave out all the rest
Leave out all the rest
Forgetting
All the hurt inside
You've learned to hide so well
Pretending
Someone else can come and save me from myself
I can't be who you are
I can't be who you are

This China girl is so heartless to say that!
I didn't know what she was talking about because it was in a Chinese language, Mandarin I think. I manage to find a fellow YouTuber who translated it into English. After listening to the translation, I am appalled that she said those things towards the earthquake victims in China. People are suffering and dying in YOUR country and this is what you do? You criticize them and belittle the efforts of those who are helping them.
She said "You know when the rocks and buildings are coming down, why don't you just stay inside obediently, why were you screaming and yelling for help?" Well how about I put a big rock on your puny chest and dare you not to scream.
And this girl is ranting, all because she wasn't able to play her online game! How selfish are you to think about playing your stupid game rather than contributing to help YOUR country people who are in need. I really despise this girl. The way she folds her arms and just keep talking with her eyes rolling and blaming those victims for the 'plight' she is in now, sighing in between sentences.
60,000 people dead and still counting, people are still suffering. There are those without sufficient food, water and medical supplies. They are homeless and have lost all their belongings.
Some comments I read about her video says that she has the right to "Freedom of Speech". Well personally, I think she is speaking IRRESPONSIBLY. Anyway, I read that she was detained.

Singapore beaten by Uzbekistan 3:7 (World Cup qualifier)
The first 30 mins of the game was really exciting. Both sides showed showed great flair and spirit in going for goal. But sadly, after that, Singapore's defense just came crashing down.
Mohd Noor was excellent in the back, he went for the ball and worked hard in trying to keep the ball away from the net. Baihakki's performance, however, wasn't good. He made a number of misses that cost the game. He wasn't quick and not pressuring the Uzbek's forwards enough. Precious's usual dominance in defense was no where to be seen. We are talking about players who have experienced in European football, tall men like Precious isn't going to instill fear in their hearts. Precious has to work on his speed, agility and aggression. The Uzbek's forwards were fast and more experienced, so definitely the defense has to counter it with quick feet and strong pressure in the next match.
Singapore's midfield's was fairly good to me, saw some good skills from the midfielders even though I feel that they should have been more 'hard' in the game. For the first time, I am seeing players like Wilkinson showing good ball control and skill on the field. His tackling was right on and manages to win the ball for Singapore in many occasions during the match. Being in the right position, at the right time. Wilkinson has improved since I saw him in the last match. His scoring was excellent too.
Singapore's forwards were pretty good. They tried many options to score and never felt like holding back. They went forward and tried a few shots which were denied by the goalkeeper and defense. But still they manage to score 3 goals. Duric's score was an uplift for Singapore, and I hope to see more of him in the next match. Amri always gives his all in every match but I think he needs a little more support. The defense is always marking him and it is proving really difficult for him to even penetrate the line. If he had a partner that would compliment his skill, that would be great, much like how Fandi and Abbas used to play.
Overall, Singapore's defense has to improve a lot. There are weak players at the back which I am sure there will be some change in players. The midfield has to be more hard and keep controlling the game as much as possible to disallow any attacks by the Uzbek's to even try penetrating the defense. Their go for goals, to me, is essential in the next match. Because long shots from goal is always a surprise for the goalkeeper but it has to be with good accuracy and power if there are to beat the goalkeeper.
What I find lacking is set pieces. Singapore has to have to be creative upfront to beat the defense line of the Uzbek's. Today, we saw that the Uzbek's can be scored against. Even though Singapore has lost greatly in this match, we are the only country in the group who has scored against them. I think this reality shows that the Uzbek's can be beaten if we work hard enough.
I did saw the Uzbek's coach looking concern during the match. I think he underestimated Singapore's fighting spirit in the match and their ability to score. Frankly, I think both sides have to work on their defense strategies. Singapore being the one who has to do a lot of work on that aspect.
