Where have I been again now?

YEs where has the fitnessdesigncoach been? Elusive as he appeared and then he disappeared.

I been here most of the time. Had a short trip to Bintan for a holiday with my family and it was a great time. It was quiet, beautiful, scenic, ahhh... and it's only an hour's ferry trip away. I want to go there and feel the warm water again. It was a short getaway but a deserving one.

Apart from work and life, I wish to share with those who are still reading my blog that I have found a special someone in my life. Yes, FDC is in love. :) He has found a beautiful girl. When the time is appropriate I will show our photos together hehehe...

So apart from love, life and work what has been happening the past year? Well my poster design won third place in the 'Safety Starts With Me' Competition. Yeah I was proud that they showcased my work. Spent weekends trying to do it. Needless to say I didn't spend enough time for myself because of that poster. :P But I won third, so at least I know I still got that design touch.

WOrk now is still hectic as usual, you goota be quick and smart on how to handle difficult situations and find ways to resolve it. ALthough I really wish with a change in new management soon that there will be much a lesser load and more ppl on board to help out with the tons of work piling each day. I guess time management is essential but a good team is very important to get things done right. Although I wish I had more time to sleep... heheh...

I am currently studying also. Doing night classes. 3 times a week and I am nearing my term break. Phew.... It is like running a marathon, so much to do, so little time as I rush to finish off my assignments as much as I can. It is not easy since I been getting a lack of sleep lately. But the colleagues have been really helpful and so far I am doing ok.

So am I going to disappear again for another year? Probably not, just that I may not update as often. I do miss blogging, it is where you pen your thoughts into the servers and showcase it to the world to see that you are still living and well. :)

So as much as I would like to write I must end my sentences here. But I will be back soon.

Something to share, while I was thinking the other day:
"Understand your limitations, reevaluate your expectations"

Cik Pon (Pontianak) caught on video

I have seen a number of paranormal videos. Some are real and some are pretty fake. But this one looks quite real. At first glance when the camera switches to his friend wearing the white t-shirt, there was nothing behind him. After the camera turns to the left (into the house) for a few seconds and then did a 180 degrees turn back at his friend, you can clearly see a white figure behind his friend. That's when the camera man realised that something was behind his friend.

You can hear the change in his voice as he quietly asks his friends to come inside the house and not to turn around. Of course his friends were a bit puzzled but the nervousness in his voice got them moving into the house slowly. I think when his friends got into the house and turned to see what was behind them, they freaked out. You can hear them running away.

It was hard to tell if the figure itself was moving towards them. Probably the camera angle made it look like it was moving.

At the beginning of the video, the cameraman mentioned that it was about 4.05 am. Near the end of the clip, you can see that they tried to go out again. Probably to investigate, but I think they were too scared and decided to run back in to one of the rooms.

Was this video staged? Or was it an accidental capture of Cik Pon on video? If this was an act, the two guys did a good job at acting casual and blur.

Mas Selamat did a "Toilet Break"

Yes it is a Toilet Break. Mas Selamat did a 'Toilet Break'. He escaped when he was asked to use the toilet, just before meeting his family. Maybe he escaped through the sewerage system. It was not a prison break either since it was a detention center and he was caught under the ISA so he is not considered a 'prisoner'. But frankly, detention center or prison, both serve the same purpose, to keep inmates in.

I doubt he escaped through the fences since it is filled with barb wires and has security cameras around the perimeter of the Detention Center. The gates are guarded by guards and security personnel. So where else can he escape? Sewers!

Well it is just a guess. Since the media seems a little 'hush-hush' about the how he actually escaped.

It's been more than 24 hours now, the prospect of him being caught seems slimmer by the minute. 24 hours is more than enough time to escape Singapore. Less than an hour to get around Singapore and even lesser to get out of this island.

Just to add salt to the wound, our fittest men are out looking for a man with a limp. If they can't catch him, I really do not know what to say about Singapore's security. No I am not losing my confidence on Singapore's security, our tax payers money are well spent, you can see it all around. I think what Singaporeans are thinking is the competency of our security.

We are holding a F1 Race this year and the Youth Olympics in 2 years time. And this guy is known to be the mastermind behind the plot of crashing a plane into Changi Airport and bombing the Yishun MRT station. You really can't have a man such as him loose. It just makes us all feel uneasy.

So what do I think about his escape? I could say brilliant if I knew how he did it. If he did it so smartly like those 'Ocean's Eleven' kind of escape then yeah brilliant. But if it is because of a mistake by the security personnel then we just have ourselves to blame.

I personally think that he might have planned his escape. Bear in mind he is a limping man, he must have some kind of transport to get him to some edge of the island. Then all he has to do is get on a boat and he is free. Impossible? Remember Took Leng How, the guy who escaped from, yes you guessed it, a toilet! And this guy was escorted by the police. He escaped from there and hailed a taxi, went to the Woodlands checkpoint and left Singapore. Well Mas Selamat could have done the same. Probably not to the Woodlands checkpoint, but maybe on a boat somewhere.

Don't forget that there was a security lockdown of the Detention Center. How long it took I do not know but those minutes spent, Mas Selamat would have been on a vehicle, speeding off from his escape.

Well, I sincerely hope they catch him soon. I mean really soon. It isn't a wonderful feeling knowing a man is capable of inflicting terrible damage to this country.
