T-Mobile G1 Android Phone : An ugly phone with potential

I like the way how you can customize the way you unlock your phone. I like the keyboard slide, very helpful when you want to write a long email or text document. I like the buttons, the functionality, the ability to add widgets, shortcuts. I also like how it moves to landscape mode when you tilt your phone horizontally. I like the touchscreen too!

I just do not like the look of it. Unlike the Iphone where I would go "Ooo.... Aaahhh!" with my eyes and mouth wide open. It took me a while to appreciate how good this phone really is.

It looks pretty much simplistic even though it has so many buttons. And it has interesting shortcuts for you to access certain functions in your phone.

I think there are other specs that it lacks but I have yet to find out what they are. With so many news on the net about this product, it gets pretty confusing. I will update accordingly when I have found the right info about this product.

Specs:

Networks - GSM/GPRS (without EDGE) Chipset - TI OMAP 1710 216 MHz CPU and 64 MB of memory Display – 2.5” 320x240 pixels touchscreen 2-megapixel camera Wi-Fi 802.11g Built-in SIP VOIP-client Opera browser Widgets (i.e. weather forecast of share rating)

Google creates a browser

Yup, it is called Google Chrome. Rumors are going on in the net as to what can it can do and when it will launch. Apparently they are launching a beta version tomorrow to 100 countries. Not too sure if it will be launch here yet but let's hope we will get to try it ourselves.

Read the web comic abt his new web browser.

Read more abt it here.

Does Google worry about your privacy? (Video)

Unsettling video. But I guess by now everyone knows abt it, what is worrying is how ppl seem to casually accept it.

Are you a Googler?

I slept too much today, maybe because I was both mentally and physically tired. Yesterday after my IPPT I went straight to work. Now I know some ppl would go, WTF? work after IPPT? Don't you rather sleep and rest?

Well, yeah I would but of course I love my job. Haha! Well apart from the extra cash working on weekends, I enjoy working at my workplace. Good colleagues, good boss, good environment, there is flexibility, fun and laughs, plus I get to do what I love. Which is design!

ANyway, I came across another workplace where I think is also one of the best places to work. I don't think you can find it in Singapore (well apart from my workplace that is hahah!) where you actually look forward to coming to work. As you know, Google is the biggest search engine in the world. And it is the best place to work at in America and probably in the world. But I didn't realise it was that amazing till I watch a clip from NBC about Google.

After watching this, You sure wish you are a Googler. Which is why every year, Google gets about a million applicants from all over the world. Yes, a MILLION!

Yup, all of those free perks only if you are a Googler.
